Synopsis:
Suzy is trying to get home but is being pursued by a threatening, nameless creature as she runs down the street. She begs entry at one house and finds refuge for the moment as a schoolmate and his grandfather take her in. But the night is still young, and dawn is hours away. Will Suzy be safe, or will unimaginable terrors lie in wait for her?

Yunyi Zhu is a Chinese-born director and producer currently based in Los Angeles after graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in directing. She has accumulated a broad spectrum of experience working in prominent international film companies, including Warner Brother, Mei Ah Entertainment (Hong Kong), Vanishing Angle, Tecent Pictures, etc. Her previous work has screened at some top-notch film festivals worldwide, including festivals that qualified for the Oscars and BAFTA recognition. Additionally, Yunyi has demonstrated her versatility by producing commercials and music videos for acclaimed international brands and artists. She is always passionate about various projects, from short films and music videos to podcasts. With her dedication to storytelling, Yunyi Zhu continues to push the boundaries of her creativity.

JayCee Porter graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Theatre and a Minor in Musical Theatre in 2018. She’s been acting since she was 3, with her most recent film credits being Separation (2020), La Voz (2020), and Backyard Camping (2019). As a Soprano, she’s starred as the Beggar Woman/Lucy in Sweeney Todd, Squeaky Fromme in Assassins, and Monteen in Parade. This is her first podcast and she’s so excited to be included in this cast of stellar women.
Daamen Krall as Grandpa
Daamen has worked as a professional actor/voice-over artist in films and television for the past 38 years. Some recent film credits include THE POST, CARS III, AMERICAN PASTORAL, UNBROKEN 2, and, for television, SLEEPY HOLLOW and MADMEN. One of his favorite projects was starring in the title role of the award-winning remake of THE CABINET OF DOCTOR CALIGARI. He also produced the award-winning short film HIDE. Under the banner of MIDNIGHT SCREAM PRODUCTIONS with partner Robert Shelby, he is currently in post-production for the web series THE LISTENER. Daamen is also the host and sometimes cast member of the return of radio’s theatre of thrills, SUSPENSE, which has gained fans worldwide and was nominated twice for a Peabody Award.
