Synopsis:

Present-day actors rehearsing the roles of Richard III and Queen Margaret are interrupted by the arrival of the real Richard III and Philippa Langley, the British writer and ; producer who played a pivotal role in finding the bones of Richard in 2012. Now, Philippa and Richard are intent on rescuing his reputation.

Gary B. Lamb has appeared as an actor in more than 50 plays and musicals and on TV and film. He recently completed a National Tour of EVITA as Juan Peron and the title role in MACBETH for Shakespeare @ The Castle in Ohio. He can be heard on the recently released podcast DREAMLAND as Bruce. He has also been behind the camera directing several films including; THE BOX (over 5 million hits on YouTube); THE BUG A CREEPY COMEDY; ROOMMATE RULES and most recently FITZWATER & MUTTON, A BUDDY FILM. Billy Mendieta

Bill Mendieta has been working in film, television and theatre in a variety of positions for many years. As well as being a producer on the award-winning feature, Wake Up, he

was a producer and UPM on Unverified, and the UPM on Sunlight. He has also produced the short films Pop with The Collaborative, Exhale, and Water with Cubed Productions, Painting Music with Extract Entertainment, and hundreds of commercials, corporate videos, and shorts for Fiction Films, WSR Creative, and Cover Story.

Being familiar with most positions on set, Bill started as an actor. He had a leading role

in the award-winning film Soldier of God, as well as Dead Border and She’s Out of His

Mind. He’s also appeared on NBC’s Days of Our Lives and in the web series: The

Sanctum, The Nevermore Chronicles, and many commercials. Versed in theatre, he is best known for playing Ricky Ricardo in I Love Lucy Live on Stage in Los Angeles, Chicago, and the 1st national tour for over 500 performances at the National Comedy Festival. He received a Broadway World Award for Best Actor.

He recently was Desi Arnaz for LA Theatre Works’ national touring production of LucyLoves Desi: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Sitcom.

Bill is an accomplished director with projects for the Mattel Corporation, the touring show of Tango Del Cielo, and many plays including the world premiere of Pray to Ball at the Skylight Theatre, which is now being developed into a feature film.

Kevin Carr

Kevin Carr (Quantum Richard III) has been acting in Shakespeare plays since the age of ten, and he has performed it professionally on both coasts and in London.  His favorite roles thus far include Hamlet, Petruchio, Iago, Jacques, Shylock, Benedick, and of course, Richard III.  

As Kevspeare, he has lent new form to many of ol' Will's works, such as Hamlet Improvised, MacSlick, Twelfth Night Andronicoos, A meeting of Wills, His Stories, and Too Many Hamlets, among others.  He is currently at work on the Shakespearean version of a certain Beckett play about waiting.

Joanne McGee

Joanne has always loved Radio Plays as it lets the audience's imaginations play a big role. She had been an actor for over 50 years playing everything from, Bag Ladies to Queens. She performed at the Mark Taper Forum as Sladjana and the Dutchess in the world premiere of, Archduke. Other theaters include, Utah Shakespeare festival, Florida Rep, Navada Shakespeare Co., Mainstreet Theatre Co. and Senora Rep, and Crown City Theatre to name a few. She has also done TV, Voice Overs and Film. She has also won awards and is most proud of an LA Ovation Award, and 2 Kennedy Center Awards. Happy to be in a Recording Studio again and a big THANK YOU to Bernadette and Opendoorplayhouse.org for using me as a Director and an Actor in Scars, Annie and Frannie series, and Lost Dog. Also as a director for Christensen Brothers, A Wake, and Corpse Pose.

Camille Ameen

Camille has acted on Broadway, off-Broadway & major regional theatres. Most recently, she appeared in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Gilmore Girls. Other TV shows include ER, L.A. Law, Newhart, Roseanne, and Kate & Allie. She had the pleasure of performing in Othello, starring James Earl Jones and Christopher Plummer, Garland Wright/Jack Heifner's Colette: Music Hall Sidelights with Kathy Bates, Awake and Sing opposite Nancy Marchand, Miss Julie & The Stronger with Rip Torn and Geraldine Page, Pirandello's Chee-Chee with Actors Theatre of Louisville, and 2 productions each of A Streetcar Named Desire and The Three Sisters. She co-founded a theatre-based non-profit for underserved middle schoolers, which became so successful (went to the White House to accept an award for the organization) that she had to let go of other passions. Now, she's thrilled to be acting again with Open-Door Playhouse. She's extremely grateful for the opportunities she's received.
